Camera and Microphone Issues on Computer

Modified on Wed, 10 Jul at 1:03 PM

In most instances, addressing camera and microphone issues follows a common resolution process.

  1. Ensure your microphone and camera are properly connected and, if applicable, make sure your camera and microphone are fully charged. If the camera has a cap, remember to remove it, and unmute the microphone using the designated button if needed.
  2. Close all other applications utilizing your camera and microphone, such as Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.
  3. Use your personal device without a VPN, as work devices often have stringent security settings that may impede camera and microphone access.
  4. Consider clearing your browser cache and cookies, as this action may prove beneficial.
  5. Grant hiringplatform.com access to your camera and microphone within your web browser.
