Error 400, 404

Modified on Thu, 11 Jul at 8:42 PM

In rare situations, you may encounter error codes 400 or 404. These errors can stem from various technical reasons, usually unrelated to the software. Here is what you can do in each case:

Error 400 Bad Request:

Description: The server is unable to process the request sent by the client.

Root Cause: Usually due to unstable internet, caching problems, or defective browsers.

Troubleshooting: First, check your internet connectivity by doing an internet speed test (https://www.speedtest.net/). If your connection is slow or unstable, see this article for further troubleshooting steps.

Second, clear your cache (see this article for instructions) and attempt the action again.

Third, try the same action with a different browser. The recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari. From the new browser, try accessing your application link again.

If your internet connection is working but you continue to encounter the error, contact our support team for assistance.

Error 404 Not Found:

Description: The requested web page cannot be found on the server.

Root Cause: Usually due to invalid, mistyped, or expired links. Sometimes can be a result of a server configuration issue.

Troubleshooting: The first step is to validate the link. Inspect the link spelling to see if there are any obvious typos. You can do this by hovering over the hyperlink text or clicking the link and inspecting the address bar. Avoid copy-pasting the link into your browser address bar, as this can cause an issue if a part of the link is not copied. Test the link again by clicking it.

If, after verifying and retrying the link, you continue to encounter the error, contact our support team for assistance.
