Google Chrome (recommended)
Update your Chrome browser.
1. Select the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner of the window.
2. Select Help and then About Google Chrome.
3. Chrome will automatically check for updates. If there's an update available, you'll see a button that says Update Google Chrome. Select it.
4. Once the update is downloaded, you'll need to relaunch Chrome for it to take effect. Select the Relaunch button.
Update your Firefox browser.
1. Select the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top right corner of the window.
2. Select Help and then About Firefox.
3. A window will appear. Firefox will automatically check for updates.
4. If an update is available, you'll see a button that says Restart to Update Firefox. Select it.
5. Firefox will download the update and then restart automatically.
Update your Safari browser.
1. Select the Apple Menu in the top left corner of your screen.
2. Select System Settings.
3. Select Software Update.
4. Your Mac will automatically check for updates. If a MacOS update is available, you'll see a button that says Update Now or Upgrade Now (depending on the update type). Select the button to start the update process.
5. Your Mac may restart several times during the update process.
It's important to note that this method only works if your Mac is compatible with the latest macOS update. You can check your Mac's compatibility through the Apple website https://support.apple.com/en-us/109033.
Update your Edge browser.
1. Select the three dots (•••) in the top right corner of the window.
2. Select Settings from the menu.
3. Select Help and Feedback and then About Microsoft Edge.
4. Edge will automatically check for updates. If there's an update available, you'll see a button that says Download and install. Select it.
5. Once the update is downloaded, you might need to restart Edge for it to take effect. If prompted, select the Restart button.
